Runhua is a Senior Researcher and PhD candidate at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zürich (ETH Zürich), Switzerland and is part of the Auto-ID Labs ETH Zürich / University of St. Gallen.
Runhua's research interest is to explore new approaches for empowering consumers to connect with brands and manufacturers to receive post-purchase services and manage their personal inventory.
He obtained his MSc in Communication Electronics with high distinction at TU Munich. His thesis focused on modifying Android kernel to trace system calls and OpenGL calls to identify different scenes in playing mobile games. Meanwhile, he obtained an honor degree in Technology Management at LMU and TU Munich. His BSc in engineering at Tongji University, China focused on electronic and information engineering.
