Dominic Wörner is a PhD candidate at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich (ETH Zurich) at the Department of Management, Technology, and Economics and works as a researcher at the Bosch Internet of Things and Services Lab at the University of St. Gallen.

He graduated in physics at the Ruprecht-Karls-University in Heidelberg, Germany. The topic of the thesis was quantum effects in photosynthesis which he has done at the Max-Planck-Institute for Nuclear Physics. During his studies he spent one year at the Uppsala University in Sweden and worked as an intern at the Bosch Energy and Building Solutions GmbH.
